How do I get started on myCompass?

On your computer, go to www.mycompass.org.au. On the myCompass home page, you will see a green ‘Register’ box on the lower right hand side of the page under the ‘New Here?’ heading. This link will start you on the registration process. Simply follow the instructions given at each stage and you will be on your way.
On your mobile phone, go to m.mycompass.org.au. On the myCompass home page, scroll down until you see the ‘Register’ link which is under the ‘About’ heading. This link will start you on the registration process. Simply follow the instructions given at each stage and you will be on your way.

How do I set up my profile in myCompass?

After registering with myCompass, you will be sent an email and/or sms containing a link. Clicking on this link is the final step of registration and it will take you back to myCompass. From here you will see a link to ‘Set up your profile’. You will then be guided through the steps for setting up your profile and myCompass can then recommend the features and areas that are most likely to interest you and be of assistance to you.
If you choose not to have help setting up your profile, you can go directly to:

  • ‘Tracking Setup’ under the ‘Tracking’ tab on the navigation bar to set up your tracking
  • the 'Modules List' under the ‘Modules’ tab on the navigation bar to choose a module to do
  • the ‘Snippets’ tab on the navigation bar to set up your Snippet preferences

What should I do if I forget my password?

Click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ link under ‘Log In’ on the myCompass home page. You will be asked to provide either your mobile phone number or email address, along with the post code that you used when registering with myCompass. A message will be sent to your mobile phone or your email address and you will be required to follow the link in that message in order to reset your password.

What should I do if the graphs do not show up properly on my mobile phone or computer?

As with all technical support issues, send an email to support@mycompass.org.au and describe the problem. The support team will then address the issue for you and notify you when the problem has been resolved.

What should I do if, once I get started, I change my mind about the areas I want to monitor?

You can do or re-do the setup questionnaire if you would like further assistance in choosing the areas you’d like to monitor, or you can choose to change your areas directly by going to ‘Tracking Setup’ under the ‘Tracking’ tab on the navigation bar. Here you can adjust your selections as you require.
